PANTHER PRIDE

Heritage Heights Elementary provides the building blocks for future learning. The goal is to prepare every student to be a lifelong learner who will grow to become a productive, contributing member of a diverse society. Students in grades K-5 receive a strong foundation in mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies with specialized instruction in technology, art, music, library, and physical education.

After the tremendous success of past events, Sweet Home Dollars for Scholars is holding its Scholarship Meat Raffle on Friday, April 17 at 7pm at St. Leo the Great Parish Center. This event has SOLD OUT in the past and we are limited to 275 tickets sold - so please get your tickets early. Proceeds from this event will be put toward our Senior Scholarship Fund - last year we gave away over $108,000 to our graduating seniors!

Tickets for the event are $10 and we are accepting reservations for tables of 8 for $75. Your admission includes beer, wine and soda. You are welcome to bring your own snacks.

Student Musicians Shine at UB

The Sweet Home Music Festival was a huge success! Nearly 200 student musicians from across the district came together at UB’s Center for the Arts to showcase their talent, teamwork, and love of music. We’re so proud of our students and grateful to our incredible music educators and Board of Education for supporting the arts. Bravo to all who made this special tradition shine! #WeAreSweetHome

New Athletics App Makes Team Schedules Easy

The winter season for Sweet Home athletics is in full swing. Now, it is easier than ever to follow your Panthers with our new Sweet Home Athletics App. No more fumbling around looking for game schedules. Our new Athletics App has everything you need to easily follow your favorite team, or every team in our program. Users can register an athlete for a sport, watch live streams of games, access the Athletics handbook, buy Panther gear, and link to our social media pages. This app is a MUST HAVE for anyone and everyone that is interested in Panther Athletics. We hope to see you at a contest soon!

Maplemere's Nico Designs Hat for Josh Allen

Happy Victory Monday, Buffalo Bills fans! Did you know that our very own Maplemere Panther, Nico, designed one of Josh Allen's New Era Cap weekly hats? These hats were created by patients at the Golisano Children's Hospital of Buffalo and after Josh wears them each week, they are auctioned off to support the Patricia Allen Fund.

Five-year-old Nico was diagnosed with a Diaphragmatic Hernia before being born. Nico's hat was worn and featured prior to the Week 17 game vs. Philadelphia. Nico's design raised an AMAZING $16,050 for the Children's Hospital!

Thank you to Maplemere teacher Mallory Pisarek for putting together this story. Nico, we are so proud that you and your family are part of ours. What an amazing honor! Go Bills, and Go Panthers!
